HELPING THE NEEDY

We would like to share our latest” Helping the needy people activity”. This time URI folks in Jordan and good hands group head to Mafraq province, one of the poorest areas in Jordan located 100 KM North East of Amman. This targeted this city as it received more than 50000 Syrian refugees, mainly families. With the help of Jordan Association for Orphans and Widows care CC in Mafraq we invited 30 families (native and Syrian refugees) to the association premises where we distributed clothes, household appliances, blankets, bags, and children toys where collected from several donors. This is our 11th project in 2012 and we are looking forward to our next project as we understand how poverty is becoming the biggest challenge facing humanity everywhere. A single hand or even a government alone cannot eradicate poverty; therefore, we are networking to encourage as many kind-hearted people as we can to help us in alleviating poverty in remote areas in Jordan. We have started this work back in 2001 and hope to continue forever. After the distributed the stuff, we spent a lovely time with kids from local communities.Together we serve humanity better.
