Creating safe spaces for sensitive conversations among people of different religious traditions and ethnicities in Yemen.
The ongoing conflict in Yemen has increased the divisions between people. Candles of Darkness is working hard to rebuild trust between different sects in Yemen. Members have many plans to empower young people and increase their awareness about the importance of building their country. The organization’s highlights include: hosting youth awareness seminars, visiting the prison, offering first aid courses, honoring influencers who positively affect their community, and gathering youth for Ramadan festivals and other religious celebrations. Their programs include sports, health, religion, educations, and other activities.
