The “Mobile Museum” at Qudrat Association for Community Development in Mafraq

The Qudrat Association for Community Development (a URI CC in Mafraq, Jordan) hosted the Mobile Museum of the National Gallery of Fine Arts. This event involved 50 children from local communities in Mafraq, engaging them in creative activities such as drawing and painting. The children expressed their creativity through their artwork, which was later displayed on the association’s walls and facilities, serving as a motivational experience for them.

During this interactive artistic activity, participants were provided with canvases and paints to create artworks using various themes and techniques. They were also introduced to the concept of fine arts, its schools, and the Jordan National Gallery of Fine Arts.

The Mobile Museum project is a pioneering initiative in Jordan and the Arab world. It includes exhibitions of original artworks from the National Gallery’s collection, art workshops, and lectures conducted by professional artists and academics. This innovative program aims to promote art appreciation and foster creativity among participants.
